This week we, like every other network with access to any kind of information medium, discuss the current state of the economy (don’t fret, video games are mentioned). With the seemingly eminent collapse of Midway, what is to blame for the company’s downfall? We also discuss some newly release phones and when companies will begin to embrace gaming as a mobile application.

In this week’s episode we have an extended version of “What ya’ Been Playin’” mainly consisting of us bull shitting and Josh singing Asia. This week we welcome a new addition to our panel, Brant. We discuss Star Wars for quite a bit and the return of the old E3. In addition, we tell our listeners which one of the newest video game blockbusters (Far Cry 2, Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Fallout 3, or Dead Space) they should spend their hard earned cash on.

Note: Pixels to Polygons is welcoming a slew of changes. We added Brant to the panel and we will also have two podcasts a week starting this week. The regular Pixels To Polygons will be released on Mondays or Tuesdays. In addition, we will release a 5 minute podcast on Fridays. Each week a different podcast developed by each person from Pixels To Polygons will be released. The first week of the month, Josh will release his video podcast Retro Rediscovery. The second week, Jake will release his hardware podcast, Hardware Hub. The third week, George and Brant will release their podcast, Obey the Hatefist that discusses MMORPG’s. As you probably notice, we are short one week. The final week of the month we will release a 20 minute podcast where the whole Pixels To Polygons panel will get together to discuss a predetermined game they had played all of the previous month.
